What to wear for a Portrait

Women and Girls

1. 1.Bring several outfits to choose  for a variety of photographs.
   

2. 2.Avoid loud, busy designs that distract.
   

3. 3.Clothing of material that wrinkles easily should be put on at the location of photo shoot.
   

4. 4.Avoid clothes with large or bold designs.
   

5. 5.For engagement announcements, wear a blouse, shirt, suit or dress.
   

Men and Boys

1. 1.Bring several changes of clothing as well as accessories or “props” that apart of their individual personalities such as rings, glasses, books, sports equipment, hobbies or anything else that will help portray the “real” you.
   

2. 2.Avoid loud, busy designs that detract.
   

Children

1. 1.Children look best in simple outfits.
   

2. 2.As a rule, avoid busy designs and dark clothes.
   

3. 3.Dress children in white, pastels or solid bright colors.
   

4. 4.Bring favorite toys.
